Carl 'Tech' Carson, an inventor and adventurer, created a three-cartridge rocket pack. He then also created one for his assistant and fiancée, Pat Dale. Together, they fought crime and the Nazis as Jet-Man and his sidekick, the Jet-Doll. Their enemies included Killer Craci, the Purple Peril or Mr. Death. Carl and Patricia formed part of the Fighting Force. Soon before the end of WWII the couple got married.
