HISTORY

Professor Knox was obsessed with creating a super-man.

He conducted clandestine experiments on stolen babies until he was finally successful, enhancing the brain of one of his 'subjects' by increasing his brain capabilities to superhuman levels.

Knox raised the boy as his own son, and named him Hyppolitus, after the mythological Giant.

When he reached adulthood, Hyppolitus decided that he no longer needed the professor and killed him. Later he would make himself known in a singular disguise and calling himself Hypnox, the Super-hypnotist, using his unique abilities for unscrupulous personal gain.

Hypnox had powerful psychic abilities. He could control humans or animals with his mind and once hypnotized literally hundreds of animals in one go.
