HISTORY

Doctors Hale and Malinsky were working on a formula to regenerate dead tissue. However, the true intentions of dr. Malinsky were much less altruistic. 

The good doctor planned to create armies of mindless supermen to the highest bidder. When Dr. Hale realized his partner's true intentions, he berated him, the argument turned into a fight and Malinsky settled the matter by shooting Hale, but the dying scientist injected himself with the formula, transforming into a hulking purple creature that strangled Malinsky to death. Then the creature went for Malinsky's henchmen and killed them all. Calling himself 'Goro', the purple ghoul went on a rampage and was chased by the police. He was eventually captured and sentenced to death but when he was taken to the electric chair he did not die and once again escaped... Since then the creature has lived on the run, seeking solitude (often in cemeteries). Somewhere within Goro, Kimball's personality lives on, in fact, Goro acts and speaks to Kimball as if he were a real, flesh-and-blood being, whom the creature addresses as "master".
