Basil Brusilof, a yugoslavian scientist, was in his laboratory when an accident occurred, an explosion that instead of killing him, changed him and gave him powers. His body turned pitch black, endowed with terrifying abilities. Unfortunately the accident also altered his mind, making him evil.
POWERS & WEAPONS
As Blackout, Basil was super strong, had natural camouflage in the dark, and possessed night vision. Blackout was capable of manifesting a dark and heavy substance, which he called 'Blackout Matter'. This substance was completely under his control, being useful to him for different uses, including as a means of air propulsion. On one occasion, Blackout got out of the prison using Blackout Matter to create enough pressure to burst through the walls.
