Adam Newman is the creature that inspired Mary Shelley's novel. After the death of his creator, Adam lived for a long time in the solitude of the Arctic Circle, becoming a legend to the Inuit. He left his self-imposed exile to fight on the side of the allied forces against the Nazis, after which he went underground, away from the eyes of man. However, Mr. Teller was not a normal man and he found Adam and recruited him for the Night Shift.
POWERS & WEAPONS
Adam possesses superhuman strength and incredible resistance to physical damage. He is invulnerable to electrical attacks and although he possesses great resistance to cold, prolonged exposure to freezing temperatures can put him into suspended animation. Contrary to popular belief, Adam is an intelligent, sensitive, and cultivated being with great knowledge of engineering and medicine. He is fluent in Inuit, English, German, French, and Italian. He is also well versed in the supernatural world and is a good fighter, hand to hand or with weapons, both fire and bladed.
