David was the young prince of Swisslakia, a small but prosperous kingdom in Central Europe. When his kingdom was stormed by diabolical external forces and the rightful King (his father) assassinated, David unearthed an ancient statue, a Golem. The young heir discovered that he was able to imbue the Golem with his own spirit, becoming an unbeatable defender for his homeland. David used the Golem to liberate and later to defend his homeland against all manner of enemy agents and criminals. David had a twin sister, Rica (nicknamed Muggsy), who had been kidnapped when she was a child and taken to the United States.
