Tony Trent, a TV reporter, began to suffer great stress from the extreme violence and corruption he witnessed as a result of his work. Almost by chance, at the same time, a kabuki demon mask came to his hands. When Trent dons the mask he turns into a true Japanese demon, an "oni", with supernatural abilities. Tony Trent decided to fight crime using the terrifying oni-mask, becoming the evildoers' nightmare.
