Professional wrestler Robert 'Bob' White traveled around the entire country fighting other wrestlers for money. And in his spare time he continued fighting, in this case, crime as the brutal and shadowy vigilante nicknamed Nightmare. Bob always traveled with a clever boy Terry "Sleepy" Wake, a street orphan of whom White became legal guardian.
POWERS & WEAPONS
Both Bob White and Terry Wake were normal humans, with no superpowers or special gadgets, beyond Nightmare's terrifying skeleton costume, designed to give him a psychological advantage against criminals. The skeleton design was phosphorescent, creating the illusion of a glowing, moving skeleton in the dark.
Robert was a skilled fighter and also possessed above-average strength, stamina, and size. Sleepy had grown up on the streets, which had made him quick in his head and hands.
