Bela Jat was a Hindu mystic trying to master the dark arts. He had two servants who did his bidding: a giant mute named Shimego and a dwarf named Gar. He faced the Rainbow Rider, among other heroes, on more than one occasion, albeit with little success. However, Bela Jat always managed to escape justice and came back for more.
