The entity known as Madam Satan was once a mortal woman named Dolores "Lola" Sundell. Dolores was very beautiful, but cruel, selfish and unscrupulous. The parents of her fiancé knew this and opposed the union, so she murdered them. As they lay dying, they managed to tell her son who had murdered them. Naturally, her fiancé was not happy to hear that and confronted her. During the resulting fight she ended up accidentally stabbing herself with the dagger she was going to kill him with. However, as he kissed her for the last time, he too died. Dolores Sundell's spirit went to hell, where she became the most loyal servant of Satan himself. Her job was to seduce men into evil and then into death, so that her master could claim their souls. And for anyone she could love, death, somewhere along the way, was practically a given. Her nemesis was Brother Sunbeam, another supernatural being, who was always trying to capture Madame Satan's evil spirit, and he approached his goal when the men found the strength in themselves to resist her.

Madam Satan appears as a dark-haired beauty in her human form, but in her true form, she has a green skull face with skull-studded eyes. Her powers include hypnotic control, teleportation, shapeshifting, and a deadly kiss.
