HISTORY 

MFE-0466 was a super advanced android created by scientists from Planet Xam. He was sent to Earth instants before the world that engendered him was destroyed. His rocket landed in the town of Riverview. There, MFE-0466 met Billy Baxton (a 10-years old kid and his first Earth friend) and the beautiful Linda Knowles (who would become the android's love interest). MFE-0466 created a civilian identity (Roger Winkler, college professor) to study humans more closely. But when danger threatened his adopted home, he was known as Captain Mechanic (or Mr. Marvel, or Modulor, or Modular Man... Well, the truth is that maybe he had too many names). 

POWERS & WEAPONS 

Being a super advanced android gave MFE-0466 a large collection of powers. His senses of hearing and sight were tremendously sharper than humans. He had inhuman strength and his synthetic skin was bulletproof. Any minor damage was quickly repaired by the nanomachines on his internal fluid. In addition, he was superintelligent. He was able to divide his body into multiple parts (modules) that were able to operate independently, each one of them being able to fly (by electromagnetism) in different directions. Therefore he could hit a villain with his fist while kicking another on the other side of the room. He also had a pair of astro-boots (they were actually his own android legs) that allowed him to fly through the space. He could change to his human disguise and vice versa with just one thought (via nanomachines). He could also shoot blasters from his eyes, emit electric shocks and had some form of technopathy. The emblem that carries in his chest contains an "Element-X" that keeps him energized. Element-X is self-generated, but when MFE-0466 uses too much power or for too long, he enters in hibernation.
