The so-called "Count Dracula" is a Wallachian warlord, sorcerer, scientist and (yes) vampire born in the 15th century. Unlike the vampires of Eastern European folklore, who are portrayed as repulsive, corpse-like creatures, Dracula exudes aristocratic charm. When Dracula was young, he had to face the overwhelming Turkish power using anything that would help him balance the scales. We are talking about scare tactics, technological advances and even black magic... In fact, he became an expert in alchemy and sorcery. And it was sorcery that transformed him into an undead. But it was not enough... Betrayed, he was forced to abandon his beloved land of Wallachia, to which he swore to return one day. He traveled all over the world learning as many disciplines as he could. At the end of the 19th Century he learned about Bram Stoker's novel and how it had twisted his legend and dirty his name... He didn't like that. Shortly after, Stoker died terrified and crazy. However, Dracula decided that the novel could still serve his purposes. He began to plot his return to Wallachia, to a New Wallachia that he himself would create and rule from then on, forever and ever... Despite being a true Voivode (literally "warlord"), Vlad adopted the title from Stoker's novel (Count), to take advantage of his terrifying fame. Finally, at the dawn of the third millennium, he claimed the County of Arges (Romania) for himself and called it New Wallachia.
From the rebuilt Poenari Castle he plots what his next move will be, without rushing. Time is on his side.
POWERS & WEAPONS
Dracula's powers include inhuman strength, climbing walls like a spider, hypnosis, mind control, control over nocturnal animals (such as wolves or rats), weather manipulation, shape-shifting, size-shifting, passing on his vampire curse to others, or limited invulnerability. He can only be definitively killed by decapitation followed by a serious perforation of the heart (with wood or not is indifferent). He needs to feed on blood, which has the effect of rejuvenating him. If he does not ingest it periodically, he physically ages at an accelerated rate. Sunlight also weakens Dracula, but unlike other vampires it does not destroy him. Garlic is poisonous to him. Sacred objects are just objects, but if someone with powerful faith wields them at him, that faith can weaken him, but not kill him. Vlad is also a brilliant scientist. He himself designed and built the Blood Dragon armor that he wears and which prevents him from weakening due to the sun or garlic, gives him extra protection and is full of other technological surprises.
