Black Swan, whose real name is Vega Ortega, was raised by the Black Star Companions, an anarchist secret society based on Stella Nera, a small island in the Mediterranean Sea. The organization has raised her so that she is completely immune to fear, pity, or any other feelings, which coupled with her training as an assassin, her cybernetic enhancements, and her super-suit makes her a living lethal weapon. Aoura, the Egyptian scientist (and telepath) in charge of her conditioning as well as the creator of her special suit is her only known affective bond.
POWERS & WEAPONS
Black Swan is able to fly thanks to her super-suit equipped with artificial wings. She also possesses various cybernetic enhancements such as night vision, heightened senses and resistance to physical damage, and an improved and more efficient metabolism than a normal human (she barely needs to eat or drink or go to the bathroom and hardly gets fatigued). The only handicap of hers is that after a continuous use of her powers (one mission) she needs a prolonged sleep (between a minimum of 2-3 days to a maximum of 2-3 weeks depending on the difficulty and/or mission hardness).
