June 1947.

Professor Fenton was an unscrupulous scientific genius with a thirst for world domination. To achieve that end he built a time machine that he sometimes used to banish his enemies, sending them into the distant past. He also used it to steal riches or relics, establishing alliances with different mythical and/or historical characters such as Attila the Hun, Genghis Khan, or Morgane Le Fay and even Adolf Hitler himself. On one occasion, he briefly posed as Prince John Lackland to collect a ransom from King Richard the Lionheart. Fenton managed to obtain the services of the android Paris, known as the Living Diamond, and used her against the Battle Squadron.

POWERS & WEAPONS

In addition to his time machine, Fenton had a small army of henchmen in his employ and he himself used to carry a futuristic stun gun.

Paris was a surprisingly sophisticated, feminine-looking automaton created in France to play chess with humans.

Originally, Paris moved stiffly and squeaked. It was later modified by a criminal named Melton, giving it great strength and agility, in addition to its superior mathematical timing and highly strategic tactics.

Obviously for criminal purposes ...

POWERS & WEAPONS

Paris was able to juggle, walk a tightrope, swing on a trapeze, and lift a grown man over its head. It could also drive and pick locks.

However, Paris could not speak, felt no pain, and had no moral reasoning.
