HISTORY 

XXXVII Century, in the future Mars is a monarchy and each member of the royal family possesses extraordinary powers. King Jarl is the master of thunder, Queen Jane is the mistress of the atom, Crown Princess Thula controls plant life, and little Princess Jane is capable of altering reality itself. The King's sister, Duchess Vanza is an anomaly, apparently lacking superhuman powers. When the Crown Princess is 16 years old, the King and Queen die in strange circumstances and Duchess Vanza becomes regent until Thula comes of age. Princess Jane is locked in a convent of the Sisterhood of Steel, but she soon escapes and travels as a stowaway in a spaceship bound for Earth. During the regency, Thula suffers several terrorist attacks from the Scarlet Shroud organization, but manages to survive unscathed thanks to her powers. Duchess Vanza assigns her a bodyguard, Johnny Fox, nicknamed Rapid Fox, a young but grim seminole warrior with special abilities. The princess and the warrior spend a lot of time together and end up falling in love. The Scarlet Shroud attacks become more and more frequent and soon civil war breaks out on the Red Planet. Princess Jane, now nicknamed the Magician of Mars, returns accompanied by the Inter-space Justice Syndicate. The Princesses of Mars confront the leader of the Scarlet Shroud, who turns out to be (oh surprise!) Duchess Vanza, and Rapid Fox an assassin hired for her to finish off Thula. However Fox's love for Thula is true and he turns against the Duchess, who seriously injures him while protecting the heiress. The Duchess manages to slip away, but the insurrection is put down and Thula is hailed by the people as Queen of Mars. However, the young princess has other plans. After taking care of Rapid Fox until his recovery, the two decide to become members of the Inter-space Justice Syndicate, just like her sister Jane, leaving her cousin, Taal, son of Duke Marsu (King Jarl's little brother), as Ruling Seneschal of Mars.

HISTORY 

Rapid Fox was a seminole warrior hired by the Regent Duchess of Mars, Vanza, as a personal bodyguard to Thula, the Crown Princess, who had suffered several terrorist attacks by the Scarlet Shroud. But in reality the Duchess had hired him not to protect Thula, but to assassinate her. However, Fox truly fell in love with the princess and when the Duchess gave him the order to assassinate her, he was unable to do so. Even more, Fox was seriously injured saving Thula's life, thus proving that his love was true. After recovering from his injuries and after Thula left Mars in the hands of her cousin Taar, they both embarked for Earth to become members of the Inter-space Justice Syndicate. Thula and Fox's relationship, despite its beginnings, has proven to be more than stable, unbreakable.

POWERS & WEAPONS 

Johnny is a skilled hand-to-hand combatant, who can easily kill with his bare hands. He is also well trained, both in the use of the traditional weapons of his people (the bow, the knife, the spear and the tomahawk axe) and in the energy weapons of the XXXVII century. As a seminole warrior, he possesses swamp survival and tracking skills. All of this is, let's say, the "normal" part of his abilities. Rapid Fox is capable of short bursts of superhuman speed, during which he moves at several hundred miles per hour. If they're short enough, he doesn't need to rest between one and the next. Those micro-bursts of speed also grant him superhuman reaction time, allowing him to dodge projectiles, attack and defend himself much faster in close combat, etc.

HISTORY 

In the XXXVII century the Planet Mars is a monarchy and the members of the royal family possess superhuman abilities. Princess Jane, who would be known as the Magician from Mars, was born with the ability to alter reality with her mind. Her powers developed as she grew older. At six years old, she was already able to materialize small objects out of nowhere and make things levitate in midair. When her parents died in strange circumstances, Duchess Vanza (her aunt) became Regent until Jane's older sister, Thula (who was 16) reached adulthood and was crowned Queen. Jane was taken against her will to the Convent of the Sisterhood of Steel, but she soon escaped from it and later stowed away on a ship bound for planet Earth. Her powers caught the attention of the Guild, a secret society of wizards that took her in and taught her the best way to use her powers. When the Civil War broke out on Mars, Jane wanted to return home, but the Guild had other plans for her and unleashed an elemental demon to hold her on Earth. The fight attracted the attention of the Inter-Space Justice Syndicate, who helped her defeat the creature and later traveled with her to Mars to help resolve the Martian conflict. Jane met with her sister Thula and the two faced the leader of the terrorist organization the Scarlet Shroud, instigator of the revolt. This character turned out to be her own aunt, the Regent Duchess Vanza herself. The revolt was put down, but Vanza escaped, vowing revenge. Jane and her sister Thula became members of the Syndicate and left the rule of Mars in the hands of her cousin, Prince Taar, son of Duke Marsu.

Jane and Ur, one of her colleagues from the Inter-space Justice Syndicate, have a platonic but deeply intense relationship.

Her powers included superintelligence, the ability to manipulate matter at will, and the ability to transform her own physical appearance (in fact, Jane was actually no more than 8 years old when she returned to Mars to stop the rebellion, however her physical appearance and her mental maturity were already those of a grown woman). The Magician from Mars' powers were scientific in nature, yet her ability to alter reality at will was not far from magic.
