The original Torcher was Louis Goodman, a former military man who hired out his services as an assassin and mercenary to the highest bidder. Goodman had no qualms about working for anyone, eventually associating himself with an individual as depraved as Pagliaccio the killer clown.
However, it is known that there have been others after Goodman who have used the name and modus operandi of the Torcher.
POWERS & WEAPONS
The Torcher's suit was designed to withstand high temperatures and protect the wearer. It originally carried a flamethrower, but was later replaced by a wrist-worn flamethrower system.
In fact, the suit has undergone constant improvements, such as increased armor (to protect the wearer from firearms) or sensory enhancements to the helmet.
