Alain Spectre, aka Boanga, aka Voodoo Man is a professional criminal and cult leader. He is an Ahitian voodoo priest, a houngan, or the worst version of one. Boanga is a master of the most sinister aspects of voodoo religion and magic. The cult that he leads exerts a great influence on the entire island of Haiti, through the terror caused by his horrible practices. The Voodoo Man knows the terrible secret of zombies, reanimated corpses used as soulless slaves.
POWERS & WEAPONS
Voodoo Man gains his powers from manipulating the forces of voodoo magic. One of Boanga's many voodoo skills is the use of voodoo dolls, small figurines carved from wood or wax that represent the image of an enemy. By adding something belonging to the target, doll and victim become spiritually linked and by using needles, Boanga is able to cause horrible pain to his enemies, sometimes even death. He also has the ability to create and control zombies, either vocally or telepathically.
