Jaime Rico was a brilliant inventor who decided to use his discoveries to start a lucrative criminal career as an air pirate in the Gulf of Mexico, becoming "El Cóndor" (the Vulture in spanish). From his floating lair, El Cóndor sends down his "Bruma Púrpura" (Purple Fog), driving ships instruments crazy.
POWERS & WEAPONS
El Cóndor wore a pair of artificial wings that allowed him to fly and that could be used as a shield to protect him from attacks. He carried an "energy beam gun", essentially a heat beam. El Cóndor operated out of "La Ciudadela Negra" (The Black Citadel), a floating fortress filled with high-tech weapons and other futuristic gadgets (such as the Purple Fog that he used to interfere the ships' radar).
El Cóndor also had his own gang of hired thugs who assisted him in his robberies.
