HISTORY 

When the Nazis invaded Poland, the young Baron Povalsky swore that he would not rest until he had freed his homeland from the yoke of the Axis forces. The baron created two identities that would help him achieve that purpose: On the one hand, Major Hurtz, the identity he used to spy on the Nazis from within, and the second was that of the Marksman, a mysterious and infallible cloaked archer who would terrorize the invaders. Only his faithful old servant Vorka was aware of Povalsky's subversive activities. The Marksman operated from a small hidden room in a tower of the Povalsky castle. Despite not being American, he was part of the Liberty Guards. All help was little to end the tyranny of the Axis since unfortunately in this parallel world (Earth-164D), D-Day was a failure and World War II dragged on for decades.
