HISTORY 

December, 1942. 

Joan Wayne, the perfect American girl. Beautiful, intelligent and prepared. She was working as an FBI stenographer in Washington DC. And she was secretly able to lift a car over her head with little effort. Tired of seeing crime and political corruption, she concluded that her special gifts could be put to better use than in an office, so she donned a costume and set out to fight corruption and crime as Miss Victory. Joan joined the Battle Squadron, where she met her future husband, Tom Kenny, also known as Tornado Tom.
