"An alien scientist named Siroco created Tondo, the Omnibot, for space exploration. The planet leader whom Siroco calls 'Your Excellency' desires to use Tondo to explore possible worlds to invade and spread his empire.
Tondo's first mission took an unexpected three years. He returns in bad shape, appearing damaged. Tondo shows moving pictures of the planet, displaying a desolate and unlivable planet. This dissuades the would-be invaders. Tondo's next mission is to Earth. Tondo intends on protecting the Earth by again deceiving the despotic conqueror."
The first time Tondo landed on Earth he did so in 1980's Harlem and, using his adaptive systems, he adopted the traits of the predominant native life form.
POWERS & WEAPONS
Tondo can turn invisible, has super strength to the point of lifting four tons with ease. His electronic brain is a super computer. He can travel at super-sonic speed by running. He can record and playback what he sees and hears. He is invulnerable to heat and physical damage.
