Veda was a skilled assassin of Hindu descent who posed as a captivating exotic dancer to seduce a wealthy American businessman, Peter Kane. Veda married Kane and then eliminated him and his only son using poison, inheriting his enormous fortune. Veda had a huge cobra that she worshiped as a god.

Veda was a mercenary and assassin specializing in poisons. Her favorite way of killing was using cobra venom as lipstick, "the kiss of death", although she was not really averse to using any other type of weapon, in fact she was an expert using both bladed weapons and firearms. His eyes had a certain hypnotic quality. She was also said to move like a snake, implying certain skills as a contortionist and acrobat.
