Kona is the king of Monster Isle, located in the Pacific Ocean and inhabited by all kinds of nightmarish prehistoric beings.
He is part of a tribe of Neanderthals that survive on said island.
He saved the lives of Dr. Henry Todd, his daughter Mary, and her two children, Mason and Lily, from a dangerous T-Rex after the second-hand military airship they were traveling in crashed. Kona becomes their friend and protects them from numerous monsters and giant creatures like giant insects, dinosaurs, man-eating plants, sea snakes, and even a giant feline.
POWERS & WEAPONS
Kona does not possess superhuman powers, but his near-superhuman athletic, hunting, foraging, and combative abilities have been honed for excellent athletic conditioning, as he spent his entire life surviving in the wild on Monster Island. His favorite weapon is a bayonet that he uses as a knife, although on more than one occasion he has been seen wielding a machine gun without problems.
