Rick Knapp was a young scientist who was the victim of an accidental explosion while working in the laboratory. His body was engulfed in a strange blue flame that did not burn him or his clothes, but gave him power beyond imagination. Knapp decided to use his newly acquired special abilities to fight crime as the Blue Fire. He is a member of the Crime Smashers.
POWERS & WEAPONS
The blue fire envelops Rick, protecting him from harm and granting him abilities such as flight or becoming intangible. Over time, Rick discovered that he could manipulate the flame with his willpower, giving it multiple uses.
However, after continued effort, the flame's effects wear off and Rick must rest to recharge his powers.
