The Battle family has a tradition serving Uncle Sam. Commander Bill Battle was head of the Atomic Commandos and comrade-in-arms of the Sky Soldier during World War II. Commander Battle helped create DANGER. His son, Captain Jack Battle fought and lost an eye in Viet-Nam, and stood out as one of the best DANGER operators during the Cold War. As the Battlemaster he was in charge of assembling the team of superhumans known as the FIXERS, directing them from the offices (and sometimes accompanying them on the battlefield).
POWERS & WEAPONS
Battle is a born leader, master tactician, expert combatant and deadly marksman. He is highly skilled in espionage, stealth, disguise, and infiltration. Jack used a jetpack, which allowed him to fly at speeds of at least 100 mph, and seems to have a range limited only by Battle's own endurance. Jack's "Disolvo Gun" was a short range handgun weapon that can loosen molecular bonds, causing any kind of matter to melt. Battle generally won't use it on human opponents, the reason why he carried a Desert Eagle as first weapon.
