HISTORY 

Sergeant Joseph "Joe" Strong was a paramarine with the 1st Marine Parachute Battalion during World War II. His unit was in action at the Pacific Theater for a short period of time, during which Strong developed a deep bond and a great sense of loyalty with the men in his battalion, especially Marine Wallace Angel. During a mission, Private Doug Danville (aka the Black Owl) saved Sergeant Strong's life and years later, Strong returned the favor when he saved Danville from a certain death. After the war, Strong spent time in the Marine Corps, but eventually joined the DANGER organization. It is believed that he had a lot to do with the reactivation of the Death Patrol in the second half of the 80s.

Strong was exceptional with firearms, a great shot. He also stood out as a hand-to-hand fighter, with a rough and slum style, but tremendously effective. But the best characteristic of him, without a doubt, was his leadership ability, serving as an example for the men in charge of him in each and every one of the combat situations in which he took part.

HISTORY 

David 'Cat-Man' Merrywether, a US Air Force Colonel, came across Katie Conn, an 11-year-old orphan whom her unscrupulous uncle was using as bait for his robberies. After putting him behind bars, Colonel Merrywether took Katie in as her ward and trained her to turn her into a fighter. Katie graduated first of her class from West Point and after a year of service in Afghanistan she became a SEAL and entered special operations. DANGER, the top secret organization in the United States, laid eyes on her and offered her a position as an undercover agent, codename CATWALK. It was at DANGER that she met Lance Cooper, aka Green Archer, who would become her partner and future husband. After becoming pregnant and suffering a traumatic experience while on a mission, Kat rethinks her entire life. She marries Lance and leaves DANGER, dedicating herself to raising her child (and those who would come after) in a quiet residential neighborhood on Long Island.

HISTORY 

Dennis Knight was a wealthy scottish sportsman living in the United States, who inspired by The Green Falcon, a powerful and mysterious knight errant from the times of King Richard, The Lionheart, becomes the Green Knight, a masked vigilante. In this identity, Dennis becomes a defender of the helpless and guardian of justice. During a case in the Everglades, Dennis rescues a young man who has been kidnapped by a bloodthirsty vampire and his burly henchman. After saving the boy from the monsters, Dennis Knight adopts him and trains him to become his squire in the fight against crime. The boy was Lance Cooper, who would eventually become the Green Archer, agent of DANGER and member of The Fixers. Knight himself would go on to work for DANGER, before falling from grace and becoming a mercenary.

Johnny Dynamite was a private detective, a tough guy from Chicago, with connections on both sides of the law. His office was on State Street, New York City. Johnny was shot and lost his right eye, but some time later the government gave him a new high-tech one. Johnny was a chain smoker, foul-mouthed and with a very bad temper and with a bad habit of always surviving. His women always ended up murdered or wanted to murder him... Johnny Dynamite was an experienced and persistent detective. His weapons included a 45 caliber handgun and a Colt revolver, although he usually preferred to employ his fists. Thanks to the government eye implant, Johnny is able to perceive the entire visual spectrum and more (infrared /thermal vision). The optimized targeting optics of his cybernetic eye make him a terrifyingly accurate sniper.

HISTORY 

Will Redding was a war veteran who suffered paralysis from injuries received in combat and therefore had to spend most of his time in a wheelchair. This situation plunged him into a deep depression, mainly due to feeling unable to develop a relationship with Bonnie, the nurse who took care of him when he returned from the front line. Redding was recruited by the secret government organization DANGER for its special War Eagle program, putting him through intense physical training to strengthen his upper body to the highest level. However, his legs were still paralyzed and that is where the core of the War Eagle program was: an exoskeleton suit that would not only restore the use of his legs and increase his physical strength, but also give him the ability to fly. Will became the patriotic hero War Eagle, first working for DANGER and later as a member of the Fixers.

HISTORY 

Matthew Price Jr. was actually the son of Gloria Travers (Ranger Girl) and the alien villain Super-Brain, who inseminated her as an experiment to obtain a hybrid. Gloria considered having an abortion, but she was not able to. Instead, she changed her appearance and she walked far away. Calling herself Mary Doolin she met a good man named Matthew Price, who wanted to make her his wife and give his surname to her unborn child. Unfortunately, before the baby was born, the couple was involved in a car accident when they crashed into an electrical tower. Matt Price Sr. died instantly, but Gloria and her son miraculously survived completely unharmed. She would later learn that the baby had unconsciously used his psychic powers to protect her. From his birth, Matt Jr. demonstrated intelligence and learning abilities superior to "normal" children. In addition, over the years, he give new samples of those psychic abilities that had saved his mother and himself when he was still in her womb. Fortunately, the boy was smart enough to hide his powers in public. He was also able to discover his true origin for himself and that revelation led him to want to right all the wrong caused by his biological father, using his paranormal abilities for the greater good. As an adult, Matt Jr. was contacted by the Organization of Active Anthropologists, actually a front for DANGER, which made him a kind of double agent within the paranormal community. As Brain Boy he joined other heirs and children of The Crime Busters members to form The Young Heroes Alliance. 

Matt and his teammate Gale Leary, aka Jill O'Wisp, became romantically involved.

HISTORY 

Pat Parker was a young British nurse. When her city was bombed by the Nazis, she was able to use her abilities to help injured children. Soon after, she overhears Nazi agents planning an attack on the British navy. Angered by what happened to her village and eager to avoid further devastation, she decided to take matters into her own hands. After helping the Royal Air Force repel the Nazi assault, she joined the army of her country. She would later collaborate with the United States Office of Strategic Services, she recruited and led the special unit "Girl Commandos" and would help found DANGER.

During the war she met the Sky Soldier and they both fell in love, but he was reported missing before the end of the war, and although Pat waited for his return for a long time, she eventually married and started a family with a former R.A.F.

HISTORY 

Alena Khodok, also known as The Crimson Cobra, was a seductive spy from Eastern Europe who was sent to the United States to steal government secrets, but was stopped by Agent Lance Cooper. 

Instead of handing her over, Cooper offered her the chance to become an asset of DANGER, the secret American spy organization. Alena accepted and eventually gained the trust of the director Battle himself, demonstrating her loyalty and capabilities as an agent. 

And when the time came, she and Lance Cooper became founding members of The FIXERS.

The Sky Soldier is presumed to be an American serviceman who lost his memory during World War II. The military could not identify him, so they named him "John Doe" and removed him from duty. But John Doe kept fighting the Nazis in Europe... He returned to combat at the Battle of Dunkirk, in disguise, assisting the Allied forces. He had a partner, Rusty, an orphan young boy who was willing to fight the Nazis. They fought alongside Commander Bill Battle and his Atomic Commandos multiple times. During the war, the Sky Soldier met Captain Patricia Parker and the two fell in love, but he vanished before the end of the war. Although Pat waited for his return for a long time, she eventually married and started a family with a former RAF pilot. Not long ago, an amnesiac man wearing the Sky Soldier uniform appeared and was enlisted by Jack Battle (director of DANGER) to lead the Fixers, a team of individuals with paranormal abilities.

Leon George, a secret agent of DANGER was sent to the Gold Coast of Africa to investigate the smuggling of uranium in the Magic Mountain deposit, one of the largest in the world. Lenny enlisted the services of a young war orphan named Bernard "Bubba" Mensah as his guide. With his help, Agent George was able to stop the sinister Doctor Sangro and his henchman Brosser. However, Sangro managed to escape and swore that he would get revenge on Leon and Bubba. And he made good on his threat. The duo was surprised by a booby trap. Bubba died instantly and Leon was left in a coma. The intervention of a mysterious shaman who infused George with the totemic spirit of the lion managed to bring him back to life. Now endowed with superhuman abilities, he became the Lionheart, ended the Sangro threat for good, and joined the Fixers.

HISTORY 

The Battle family has a tradition serving Uncle Sam. Commander Bill Battle was head of the Atomic Commandos and comrade-in-arms of the Sky Soldier during World War II. Commander Battle helped create DANGER. His son, Captain Jack Battle fought and lost an eye in Viet-Nam, and stood out as one of the best DANGER operators during the Cold War. As the Battlemaster he was in charge of assembling the team of superhumans known as the FIXERS, directing them from the offices (and sometimes accompanying them on the battlefield). 

POWERS & WEAPONS 

Battle is a born leader, master tactician, expert combatant and deadly marksman. He is highly skilled in espionage, stealth, disguise, and infiltration. Jack used a jetpack, which allowed him to fly at speeds of at least 100 mph, and seems to have a range limited only by Battle's own endurance.  Jack's "Disolvo Gun" was a short range handgun weapon that can loosen molecular bonds, causing any kind of  matter to melt. Battle generally won't use it on human opponents, the reason why he carried a Desert Eagle as first weapon.

Spade served during World War II alongside Death Patrol leader Delmer Van Dyne Sr., Air Force Captain Steve Savage, and Commander Bill Battle, of the Atomic Commandos. 

Two decades after the end of the war, Spade became the leader of DANGER, dealing with paranormal threats and rogue superhumans. Late in his career, Spade was responsible for reviving a revamped Death Patrol. 

His calling card was the Ace of Spades, a symbol that came to command true respect.
