HISTORY 

Mikhail Savitch was a Russian aristocrat who grew up in an assylum, mute and retarded, when he was found by the Swiss scientist Dr. Rapperschwyll. The good doctor fixed Savitch by building him a mechanical brain that worked so efficiently that Savitch could never make a mistake. Savitch soon graduated from Dorpat University and quickly rose through the ranks at the Czar's court. Unfortunately, Savitch suffered from periodic transient attacks and needed maintenance on his brain. An American, Dr. Fisher, sickened by the Baron's inhuman nature, tried to steal his brain during one of Savitch's "crises," but Savitch was able to predict and eliminate the threat despite being temporarily incapacitated. Similarly, Savitch was able not only to predict the Russian Revolution, but also to become an important position within the Soviet gear.
