Professor Sven Carlson was in charge of a Norwegian station at the North Pole. One night, in the middle of a horrible snowstorm, the Professor thought he heard a child cry. It didn't seem possible, but in the snow he found a newborn alive and well. Carlson took the boy and raised him as his own son. The baby, whom he named Thom, grew up healthy and normal (except for his silver hair), until upon entering puberty, he began to develop cryokinetic abilities. Soon after, Professor Warren, also known as Supermind, recruited him for his Atomic Squad.
POWERS & WEAPONS
Doctor Frost could project cold beams from his hands, freeze objects (such as an opponent's weapon), create ice sleds in water, or wrap himself in a layer of ice so thick it can withstand strong explosions.
However, even without these powers, he was a formidable fighter.
