Bettie and Ned met at the Space Patrol academy. Upon graduation they became partners in a Special Weapons and Tactics Unit. Their relationship went further, first they were lovers and then they got married. But protecting and serving was not as rewarding as they would have liked and they began to carry out more lucrative illicit activities, which would finally lead to their dishonorable expulsion from the Space Patrol. Nothing they didn't make up for by raiding (and stealing) a couple of ships or three loaded with valuable cargo. The pirate couple, nicknamed "the Sky Skulls" or "the Bonnie & Clyde from Space", achieved great notoriety. The Inter-space Justice Syndicate took care of their capture...
But this pair of birds are more elusive than they seem.
POWERS & WEAPONS
Bettie and Ned are well trained and equipped. They use vacuum survival suits and jet packs, variable intensity blasters, and a small spaceship (the Skull Sky-Van) that serves as their mobile base of operations.
