Once upon a time there were three young men who had suffered the violent loss of a loved one:
Quill Davis. Shrewd investigative reporter whose brother had died of a drug overdose.
Val Hall. Millionaire and philanthropist, who unfortunately was orphaned at a very young age by a trigger-happy thief.
And Omar Kavak. One of the most important violinists in the world, who had recently lost his fiancée to organized crime.
Davis gathered them together and told the others that they could make a difference, together they could avenge the death of their loved ones and prevent more people from suffering a loss like theirs. The three agreed and thanks to Hall's funds, they created the alter ego of the Spark Man, master of a terrifying electrical power. The trick was that all three of them were the Spark Man. With the information from Davis, funds from Hall, and the impetus of Kavak, the Spark Man became the scourge of crime and a true force for good... At least initially...
Little by little, Kavak became more extreme. He began to execute any criminal, regardless of the importance of his crime. Afterwards, he crossed the next line and began executing anyone who got in the way of his mad pursuit of vigilante justice. Kavak killed District Attorney Dillon and when Hall and Davis confronted him, he killed them both and set the scene to make it look like they killed each other. Since then he prowls the alleys of the most dangerous neighborhoods looking for new victims of his insatiable thirst for revenge.
POWERS & WEAPONS
Spark Man's uniform absorbed static electricity and collected it, then discharged it through a pair of strange-looking gloves. Later he also began to use firearms.
