James Kaler used to work as a CIA operative, until he got (stole) a special suit that conferred certain paranormal abilities. He defected from the Agency and became a free agent, the Image, a mercenary to the highest bidder. He is usually a cold and amoral individual, although he enjoys a sadistic streak.
POWERS & WEAPONS
The Image suit gives Kaler the power of teleportation, but he must use highly reflective surfaces as portals. The more polished the surface and better reflected image quality, the easier the connection will be. Therefore, he usually teleports through mirrors or very polished metals. That does not take away that he has used a glass or even a puddle. The surface must have an area wide enough so that he can go through it. A failsafe mechanism avoids amputations, in case of connection failure, the transport simply does not occur.
