HISTORY 

The Silver Lady was a Soviet agent who went to Cape Canaveral, Florida, and posed as a celebrity, using television to somehow perform mass hypnosis or mind control on people in the region. She managed to get military engineers to sabotage the Titan missiles and launch them at strategic targets. Fortunately, the rockets were stopped by the hero Atoman. However, the Silver Lady managed to get the nuclear crussader to return her behind the Iron Curtain, causing Atoman not a little problem. 

POWERS & WEAPONS 

Her power allowed her to easily dominate the minds of almost anyone who saw her. Her skin was covered in a silver-looking material that made her exceptionally tough. Despite being trained by the KGB, Venera preferred to use her power to manipulate minds rather than engage in physical combat.

HISTORY

Barry Dale was a scientist who worked at the Atomic Institute. The unconscious exposure to radioactive materials, instead of giving him cancer as one might expect, awakened his Gen-0 and, as a result, he gained superpowers. 

"Obviously my body is so overloaded with radiation as a result of working with radium and uranium that it can explode atoms and give me atomic force."

Barry thought that perhaps he could be the first of a new race of humans that would come in the nascent Atomic Age, although time proved that this was not exactly the case. Regardless, Dale decided to use his new crime-fighting skills and quickly donned a superhero costume and set out to right wrongs. 

POWERS & WEAPONS

Barry's powers included super strength, invulnerability, and the ability to fly. Furthermore, he had "atomic vision" (telescopic / microscopic / thermal vision), and could heat his body to the point where he could weld metal with his bare hands. He over time also learned to generate powerful beams of force through his hands.
