HISTORY 

Lily Flaherty was the capricious daughter of a Massachusetts smallholder some 300 years ago. It was said that a witch lived in the nearby woods and one day, for a bet, Lily went alone into the woods to steal a hair needle from her. The old witch surprised her in her cabin and cornered her. The old crone offered her the hair needle and when Lily extended her hand to take it, the witch jabbed her with it. At that moment the young Lily died and the vampire was born. She transformed into a creature of the night, the disciple of Lilith, the Mother of Demons. After feasting on the blood of her own family, she and Lilith traveled south to the lands of Florida and Georgia. In the swamps of Okefenokee they outwitted the Big Bad Wolf, a famous monster hunter (who was actually a lycanthrope) and murdered his two human collaborators (Zach Parker and Tim Blake), earning the hunter's eternal hatred. During the next three centuries the couple continued to sow evil and decadence, until the 20th century when they went separated ways. In the 80s, the relative of one of her victims placed a curse on Lily: The Blood Wail. Every death caused by her would become a terrible weight on her regained consciousness. This meant a turning point in her unlife, perhaps an open door to redemption... 

POWERS & WEAPONS 

Lily was transformed by Lilith, Mother of Demons, into a vampire. Her abilities are those of most vampires, with slight differences. She is stronger and faster than a normal human. Her senses are also superior. She is able to heal any wound she receives almost instantly (although fire, decapitation, a stake to the heart, or prolonged exposure to the sun can kill her). She is immune to aging (although she needs to consume blood or she will wither into decrepitude) and has the ability to fly.

HISTORY 

Lilith appears in the Babylonian Talmud as the first wife of Adam. 

She left her husband after refusing to submit to him and would not return to the Garden of Eden after mating with the archangel Samael. To prevent Lilith and Samael's demonic children, the Lilin, from filling the world and destroying it, God castrated Samael. Since Lilith could no longer breed with Samael, she sought to mate with men. To many, Lilith is the embodiment of lust, which drives men crazy and into slaves, but she is also a powerful child-killing witch, with an unhealthy taste for helpless neonates. Her true form is that of a disgusting old crone, but she normally hides her real face behind an illusion of irresistible beauty.

HISTORY 

Elmer Dowd is a werewolf who hunts vampires. 300 years ago, in the swamps of Okefenokee in Georgia, Dowd faced two vampire witches, Scarlet Jacket and Old Granny, being defeated and losing his two human collaborators, Zach Parker and Tim Blake. Dowd was seriously injured and humiliated. Since then he has continued alone with his revenge against the vampire community... Until he crossed paths with Althea Moldoff and the Night Shift. Elmer stalked the young vampire until he was stopped in extremis by her teammates, who convinced him that Althea was a different kind of vampire and offered to join them to prove it to him. Surprisingly, the old Big Bad Werewolf took up the offer, partly to keep a closer eye on Althea and partly because deep down he missed having company. 

POWERS & WEAPONS 

Elmer Dowd can transform into a werewolf and revert to human form at will. Presumably he has the abilities of a traditional werewolf including enhanced strength, speed, agility, and stamina, as well as enhanced senses. He also possesses great resistance to physical damage, being able to survive and recover quickly from injuries that would kill a normal human. 

At the moment it is unknown if the aversion to silver is within his characteristics. Dowd is usually well equipped with a small arsenal of weapons specially designed according to the characteristics of the prey to be hunted.
