HISTORY

Phoebe Renārs was the daughter of Konstantin Renārs, a Serbian politician assassinated by a rival faction. Skywolf Airlines (a subsidiary of DANGER) tried to find the killers before the situation escalated into an armed conflict, but Phoebe, calling herself "Strah" (Serbian for "fear") was always one step ahead of the team, managing to mercilessly assassinate all the conspirators, destabilizing an already unstable region. After that Strah established herself as an international mercenary to the highest bidder.

POWERS & WEAPONS

Strah displayed an impressive array of skills including aircraft piloting, horsemanship, martial arts, and wielding a whip, as well as deadly marksmanship. Miss Renārs obtained fear gas from Dr. Philip Hoshi (aka Dr. Fear) and used it through a gas pistol (the fact that she used the weapon without a gas mask implies that she herself was immunized to its effects).

HISTORY

Flyboy was Davey Nelson, the son of an expert pilot and an excellent young flyer himself. After becoming an orphan, Davey was raised in a monastery in Capistrano, California. He became friends with a well respected Franciscan monk named Brother Francis Martier. David helped to inspire Martier in designing a precision aircraft, hoping it would be his contribution to the world. Martier worked obsessively, and secured a loan in order to create a prototype aircraft. However, Martier was killed while test-flying it, because its fuel lines had been sabotaged. Davy swore to rebuild the craft, and he did. Doning a uniform, Davey soon named himself Flyboy and his new plane 'Birdie'. He helped the Allies during World War II, and soon earned the respect of enemy fliers. He joined the Fighting Force and became good friends with Skywolf.

POWERS & WEAPONS

Flyboy's plane, Birdie, was equiped with dual machine guns, its wheels could grasp other aircraft, and it could be controlled by a voice activated remote control, under Davey's lapel. It was able to home in on Flyboy and may have had some limited degree of artifical intelligence. Flyboy himself was an innovative mechanic and an ace fighter pilot. He was also a skilled fighter.

HISTORY

Lawrence Mortimer Wolfe, also known as Skywolf, led a team of Allied pilots, the Wolfpack, during World War II. The members of the team (in addition to Skywolf himself) were: Cocky Roche, who was a Cockney; Judge, an Englishman rejected by the R.A.F. because of his advanced age; and the last member was Turtle, a Pole who had his tongue cut out by the Nazis and who communicated by tapping his head in Morse code. He had an ally in Mademoiselle Frisco, entertainer and double agent. The Wolfpack squadron flew specially modified aircraft according to the specific characteristics of each pilot and was a combat group so effective that Adolf Hitler himself was desperate to finish them off to the point of participating in a plan to capture them. Skywolf's archenemy was the Nazi cyborg Baron Von Tundra. The Wolfpack Squad was associated with the group of adventurers called the Liberty Guards. Unfortunately on this parallel world (Earth-164D), D-Day was a failure and World War II dragged on for decades.

POWERS & WEAPONS

Wolfe was an excellent aviator and a skilled fighter, with his bare hands or various types of firearms. Furthermore, he was an accomplished polyglot and a born leader.
