Saul Rosen was for a time an illusionist using the alias "Solar, Master of Magic". But in reality he was the last in the lineage of the mythical King Solomon, and heir to the Seal of Solomon that gave him incredible magical powers. As the shadow of the Third Reich loomed over the world, the ring warned Rosen that it was time to use its powers for a higher purpose, and taking the name of his powerful ancestor, Saul Rosen crossed the Atlantic Ocean to fight against the forces of evil, embodied in the ruthless Nazis. Unfortunately in this parallel world (Earth-164D), D-Day was a failure and World War II dragged on for decades.
POWERS & WEAPONS
Solomon's seal grants great magical abilities to Saul Rosen. By reciting his spell in ancient Hebrew, Rosen is able to produce virtually any effect he is capable of conceiving. He was even able to fight minor deities single-handedly, instantly teleport anywhere in the world, or summon mythological creatures that would do his bidding.
