HISTORY 

Victor Todd was an FBI special agent who was trapped under debris caused by an explosion while he was chasing saboteurs. Todd was mutated by the force of the explosion. Using every ounce of strength, he managed to break free and return to FBI headquarters, where he was treated for weeks trying to stabilize his physical form. Unfortunately, Todd was gradually reduced to pure energy contained within a suit. Over time, he discovered that not everything was disadvantages and that his new form also had extraordinary powers, which Todd decided to use for the benefit of humanity, becoming Nitro-Man. Todd joined the Liberty Guards during World War II. Unfortunately on this parallel world (Earth-164D), D-Day was a failure and World War II dragged on for decades. 

POWERS & WEAPONS 

Todd must remain confined to a containment suit at all times or the high-energy particles carrying his essence would dissipate into the environment. Nitro-Man had the ability to absorb different types of radiation (increasing his power), launch blasts of pure concussive force, possessed superhuman strength and durability, and the ability to fly.
