HISTORY 

Professor Colby Morgan was developing a suit that allowed its wearer to become invisible, but he was murdered by gangsters trying to get hold of the invention. His son Red, dressed in the suit created by his father, punished the guilty and since then put his strength and skill at the service of fighting crime. When changing from visible to invisible or vice versa, the suit produced an innocuous sparkling effect from which he was nicknamed 'the Sparkler'. Red was in Sentinel's first team of Liberty Guards, the ones who tried to stop the attack on Pearl Harbor and failed. Only Lady Liberty and Sentinel himself returned from that mission. 

The Sparkler was officially declared missing in the line of duty. 

POWERS & WEAPONS 

The Sparkler, Red Morgan, wore a suit of light-resistant material that allowed him to completely disappear. He also carried a stun gun.
