HISTORY 

William 'Wild Bill' Dunn was an American engineer who was with the British army in a remote area of Abyssinia (Ethiopia occupied by the Italians during World War II). His group was attacked by the M'bujies, a sect of native assassins working for the Italians. The M'bujies wounded Dunn and killed all of his companions. Dunn was rescued by Mick 'Boomerang' Jones, an Australian soldier to whom the same thing had happened. When Dunn was restored, he and Jones began making a super vehicle from scrap metal. When it was finished they called it the Blue Tracer and used it to end the M'bujies threat. Wild Bill was on the first Sentinel Liberty Guard team, the one that tried to stop the attack on Pearl Harbor...

The Tracer was an all-terrain vehicle that could become a tank, an airplane, or a submarine. It was armed with machine guns, a cannon, and torpedoes.

HISTORY

Ted Dawson was a stranded cowboy in the Red Desert (Wyoming). When he was about to die of dehydration, a light fell from the sky. The light became a spaceship and a creature descended from it. The creature introduced itself as Kagah and offered Ted Dawson what appeared to be water. Dawson, desperate and on the verge of death, drank the water offered by the strange being and instantly fell unconscious. The next morning, Ted discovered that in addition to being perfectly fine, he had acquired super-human powers. Using his new abilities, Ted would become the superhero Red Flare. Red Flare joined the Sentinel and his Liberty Guards in trying to stop the attack on Pearl Harbor. Unfortunately they were unable to stop the Japanese attack and Red Flare was declared missing in action.

HISTORY 

Professor Colby Morgan was developing a suit that allowed its wearer to become invisible, but he was murdered by gangsters trying to get hold of the invention. His son Red, dressed in the suit created by his father, punished the guilty and since then put his strength and skill at the service of fighting crime. When changing from visible to invisible or vice versa, the suit produced an innocuous sparkling effect from which he was nicknamed 'the Sparkler'. Red was in Sentinel's first team of Liberty Guards, the ones who tried to stop the attack on Pearl Harbor and failed. Only Lady Liberty and Sentinel himself returned from that mission. 

The Sparkler was officially declared missing in the line of duty.

The Sparkler, Red Morgan, wore a suit of light-resistant material that allowed him to completely disappear. He also carried a stun gun.

HISTORY

Vince Harley was a crime novel writer suffering from art block until Judy Graves crossed his path. The girl was pursued by the gangster Jake Mallon and his gang, who broke into Harley's country house and after questioning him about Judy's whereabouts and beating him to death, left him at the mercy of a swarm of wasps. However the wasps did not harm him and when Judy came out of her hiding place he was able to order the wasps not to harm her either. Inspired by this revelation, Vince donned a wasp-colored costume and confronted Mallon and his henchmen aided by his new "friends", easily defeating the criminals. The newspapers named him Jack Wasp and Harley decided to continue acting as masked hero, which also helped him overcome the creative block he suffered from. Unfortunately shortly after Vince joined the first group of Liberty Guards who tried to stop the attack on Pearl Harbor. Jack Wasp was among the fallen on that fateful day.

Jack Wasp was able to control yellow jackets as well as being immune to the venom from their stings. Harley practiced boxing and was in exceptional physical condition. He was a sleuth with a keen nose for unraveling mysteries.
